Community Living British Columbia (CLBC) is dedicated to supporting adults with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) who require significant help with daily living. As a provincial Crown corporation, CLBC works with over 29,000 individuals and their families across British Columbia, offering personalized supports that promote inclusion, independence and quality of life.
Rooted in the belief that people and families know best when it comes to their own goals, CLBC empowers individuals to lead their planning process and make informed decisions about their future. Whether through residential support, community inclusion programs or employment services, CLBC helps connect people with the resources they need to live meaningful and connected lives.
Founded in 2005 through grassroots advocacy, CLBC continues to be guided by the voices of those it serves. Its vision—“Communities of belonging, lives with connection”—shapes every decision, ensuring that individuals are not only supported, but truly included in their communities.
CLBC is more than a service provider—it’s a thoughtful partner in creating opportunities. With a focus on collaboration, choice and community, CLBC is helping to build a province where everyone has the chance to thrive.
