A creative hub for budding artists and creatives of all ages, Evelia Espinosa’s Art Studio offers long-term classes in drawing, painting and ceramics for children, teens and adults. Originally founded in 2006 as a home-based studio, Evelia’s passion for the arts and her belief in its power to transform lives quickly grew into a thriving program. In 2023, the studio relocated to Newport Village after redevelopment plans displaced its former Port Moody location. The new space provides a vibrant, welcoming setting that aligns with the spirit of the studio’s community-based approach.

The dynamic studio is best known for its beloved Drawing & Painting program and its annual Children’s Art Festival, where student work is exhibited and celebrated publicly at the Civic Centre Galleria. This free June event includes live demonstrations and offers the broader community an exciting glimpse into the studio’s creative energy.
